Caregivers Available for Physical Therapy Assistance this Summer

Summer is wonderful time for the outdoors. Hiking, swimming, bike riding, and more are just a few of the many activities that are popular this season, but, unfortunately, not everyone can fully participate. Seniors, the elderly and the physically disabled may not be adept at engaging in such intense pastimes due to physical limitations.  In light of this, A-1 Home Care would like to reach out and help seniors and the disabled in Burbank enjoy their summer by assisting them with exercises appropriate for their abilities. How we intend to do this is by offering in home and 24 hour caregivers for Burbank patients and having these home health aides not simply tend to their needs around the home, but also to help engage them in motor exercises such as stretching and walking outside.

In providing non-medical home health aides, our senior home care agency intends to give people the opportunity to go out and enjoy summer fun under professional supervision, while also enjoying the benefits of companion care. Prepped with 2 years of more of caregiving experience and trained in all facets of care including Elder Care and Diabetic Care, our home health aides can be trusted to providing care and security to your homes.

Proper diet for expecting moms/ A-1 Home Care Postpartum Care

January is National Birth Defect Prevention Month!

For this occasion, A-1 Home Care has compiled some resources for new moms regarding proper diet.

When you're pregnant, what you eat and drink is the main source of nourishment for your baby. In fact, the link between what you consume and the health of your baby is much stronger than once thought. That's why doctors now say, for example, that no amount of alcohol consumption should be considered safe during pregnancy.

The extra food you eat shouldn't just be empty calories — and our Postpartum Caregivers are well aware of this. It should provide the nutrients your growing baby needs. For example, calcium helps make and keep bones and teeth strong. While you're pregnant, you still need calcium for your body, plus extra calcium for your developing baby. Similarly, you require more of all the essential nutrients than you did before you became pregnant.

A-1 Home Care provides new families assistance with cleanliness, daily health, and self care. Everyone deserves to live in a positive environment, even if they need help to get there. Our Beverly Hills 24 Hour Caregivers do that around the clock, making sure that the fridge is full, floors are clean, bed is tucked, and babies asleep at night.

If you would like more information on live in care, personal services or in home care, call A-1 Home Care at 310-657-8780 or visit http://www.beverlyhillsinhomecare.com/ today.

Studies show you become what you think/ 24 Hour Caregivers in Beverly Hills

What were your attitudes towards aging throughout your life? Believe it or not, such things have a great impact on your present life. Psychologists call these attitudes "age stereotypes" and they can have great impacts on senior health.

According to the New York Times, the self fulfilling prophecy is true...at least when it comes to old age. Seniors who thought poorly of aging in their lifetimes- with associations such as loneliness, becoming useless, or devalued, were less likely to provide self care and died earlier. They were also more likely to suffer from memory loss disorders, such as Alzheimer.

In essence, aging gracefully is about mind over matter.

A-1 Home Care provides assistance with cleanliness, daily health, and self care. Everyone deserves to live in a positive environment, even if they need help to get there. Our Beverly Hills 24 Hour Caregivers do that around the clock, making sure that the fridge is full, floors are clean, bed is tucked, and loved ones asleep at night.
